About the position

As an assistant site manager, you are a key person in the daily operations of our facility. You work closely with the site manager to ensure that the operations run smoothly, the staff is motivated, and the members receive the best experience every time they walk through the door.

The position is 50% with varying working hours, including evenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist the site manager in the daily operations of the facility
• Be a role model for the team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Actively work with member service and sales (gym memberships, personal training, store)
• Help with scheduling and staffing
• Contribute to planning and executing activities and events
• Keep track of the facility's condition and ensure a pleasant environment
• Support in recruitment and onboarding of new staff
• Lead group training or introductions as needed

• Is fitness-oriented and has a genuine commitment to health
• Has previous experience in service roles (preferably within the fitness industry)
• Is a confident and responsible person with the ability to lead others
• Enjoys working towards goals and likes to see results
• Has an easy time communicating and building relationships with both members and colleagues
• Likes structure, is solution-oriented, and dares to take initiative
• Is flexible and not afraid to pitch in where needed
• Has a B driver's license (meritorious)
